The role of Identity and Access Management Product Owner sits within IT Infrastructure and Digital Workplace. It is focused on collaborating with various departments within Volvo Autonomous Solutions. The goal is to help drive identity and access control initiatives, supporting internal policies, regulatory compliance, and industry standards.

In your role, you will provide expertise and guidance to various business units and work closely with your colleagues in the IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity teams. As such, you will work with cutting-edge technology. Simultaneously, you'll contribute to a society that we want to live in through our mission. Our focus is on developing and commercializing industrial autonomous transport solutions and solving real-world problems!

We, within the IT Infrastructure and Digital Workplace, are a small but passionate and effective team. We are stronger than the sum of its parts and ready to tackle the big challenges we have ahead of us. We are looking for your support and contribution to create a great Identity and Access Management solution but also with other areas within our portfolio of services!

Your Responsibilities

As Product Owner for Identity and Access Management, you will be responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining our IAM services both for cloud and on-premises services. Additionally, there is a need for integrating our IAM solutions into non-Microsoft services, including Linux (Ubuntu), High-Performance Computing platforms, internally built applications, and code, among others.

It is an exciting mix of quick problem solving, both from a support perspective but also for new implementations as well as long-term improvements where IAM plays a critical role.

We operate in a complex technical environment with various solutions and integrations. This setup is designed to empower our developers in crafting optimal Autonomous Transport Solutions. Simultaneously, it facilitates our customers in utilizing these solutions in the most efficient way possible. You will be the go-to person for IAM and will be surrounded by highly skilled and humble colleagues who will support and work with you to achieve success.

You will take charge of ensuring that our services, systems, and devices comply with IAM policies and procedures along with stable operations. As a person, you are not only highly technically skilled but also a solid performer that delivers high value over time!

You will have lots of interaction, both internally with different projects and implementations as well as with external parties such as suppliers or customers.

The first phase of the role is all about gathering requirements, creating, and designing the solutions together with our users and then implementing them.

Once these services have been established, the next phase is to take product ownership and continue to drive the IAM services forward!
